Delivery


Delivery Address and Contact Details

When placing an order with Ocular we require a physical street address. We can only ship to PO Boxes for small orders (Cables/Signs), but for larger orders, Australia Post / TNT does not allow us to ship to a PO Box. To assist us in processing your order, please provide your phone number in case we need to speak to you about the order. Please note that TNT/Australia Post require an authorized signatory to be at the delivery address to sign for and collect the goods or conversely advise us if you authorize us to leave the item.

Standard Shipping Method:

TNT
Ocular uses TNT Australia to deliver large products. The service provides up to next business day delivery (metro areas AU wide).

Ocular will use Australia Post when delivering smaller items such as cables and signs or when delivering to a PO Box.

Limitation Of Liability And Warranty


All items offered for sale on this site have been displayed with the pictures and text supplied by the manufacturer. Whilst every effort is made to verify this information, mistakes can occur for which Australia cannot accept any liability.

If however, this effects the use of your purchase, we will be happy to exchange any item as detailed in the return and refunds section within Store Policies.


Warranty period is 12-24 months depending on model from date of Invoice.

 

Returns Policy


All returns are subject to our returns policy. If you believe you have received a faulty product please contact our team immediately. If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact your sales representative. Ocular Charging does not offer refunds for products ordered in error but can exchange items or return with a 15% restock fee

All the pricing on the website and the quotes we give you are based on market prices and what we have in stock.

All quotes are valid for 30 days only unless noted otherwise.

 

Payment Methods


We accept the following payment methods:

Online Transactions


We use the trusted payment gateway Eway to process online credit card transactions through a securely encrypted portal. If you do not feel comfortable processing your card online you may phone your details through. Once processed all records with your details are destroyed. We do not keep credit card details or any personal information.
If you purchase on account, Ocular Charging retains ownership until you pay. If you cannot pay, we are legally entitled to collect the goods from you.

 

Standard Hardware Support Terms


Ocular will provide Technical Support to the Customer via both telephone and email on weekdays during the hours of 9:00 am through 5:30 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, with the exclusion of Australian Public Holidays (“Support Hours”). The customer may initiate a helpdesk ticket during Support Hours emailing sales@ocularcharging.com.au. The Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to all Helpdesk tickets within one business day.

 

Faulty Equipment


Ocular Charging products supplied by EVE Australia have the benefit of our manufacturer’s product warranty, which covers the product for 24 months from the date of purchase. This gives you the reassurance that if, within that time, your charger is proven to be defective because of material defect we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the charger at no cost.

 

Supply Hardware and Installation


Where Ocular has supplied and installed the EV charger the warranty is extended to the installation and any costs associated with repair or replacement will occur no cost. All installations are covered by a 2- year warranty. Ocular at its own discretion will determine if a part or replacement warranty is required.

 

Supply Hardware only


Ocular will provide the site a maximum of $100 ex. GST to cover the cost of repair or replacement for Ocular chargers only. Ocular technicians over the phone will diagnose the charger and ensure that the unit is faulty. Once established that the unit is faulty Ocular at its own discretion will organise a repair or replacement. A return label will be supplied and all defective parts or units must be returned for all warranty claims.

This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  •  The charger has been installed by an approved installer and operated correctly
  • The charger is used only on the electricity supply printed on the rating plate
  • The charger has been used only to charge an electric vehicle
  • The charging cable has been replaced in the holding socket when not in use (applies only to
    tethered units not socketed units)
  • The charger has not been altered, serviced, maintained, dismantled or otherwise interfered with
    by any person not authorised by us or our appointed agent. For the avoidance of doubt any
    attempt to open the unit by anyone other than ourselves or our appointed agent will invalidate
    the warranty
  • Any repair work must be undertaken by us or our appointed agent
  • Any parts removed during repair work or any charger that is replaced become our property

 

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from transportation, improper use, wear and tear, neglect or interference or as
    a result of improper installation
  • Replacement of any consumable item or accessory not supplied by us.
  • You continue to use any of the works after any defect becomes apparent or would have become
    apparent to a reasonably prudent operator or user.
  • You allow someone other than a licensed professional to repair the products.
  • Fair wear and tear

In respect of all claims under this warranty, we will not be liable to compensate the Customer for any delay in either replacing or remedying the workmanship or in properly assessing your claim.

 

Afterhours Callouts within Warranty Period

If the site requires an electrician onsite afterhours (Outside of standard support times 9am-5pm Mon-Friday) then a call out fee will be required to pay for an electrician’s time.
Electrician Afterhours Call outs $400.00 ex. GST/ per visit

 

Post-Warranty Call outs

At the end of the warranty period call outs will require a small fee to diagnose issues if they cannot be fixed remotely. Any repair costs will be provided in a quote for approval.

Electrician Afterhours Call outs $ 400.00 ex. GST/ per visit
